Transfer season starts with the best surprise.
Former Bowling Green gymnast Kathryn Weilbacher announced her dream came true and she’d be transferring to LSU Thursday. She never officially posted about her entering the transfer portal, but she updated her bio a month ago linking to a newly created gymnastics page. Kathryn will be spending her final year of eligibility with the Tigers. The Houston native has a strong connection to LSU thanks to her parents being alumni and her still going to football games during her time at BGSU. I feel it’s important I note that I may be slightly biased when talking about her because I interviewed her before this season, an interview you can check out here to learn about her experience at her old school.
