When the Rockies started the series with the Astros, both teams had seven wins. When Colorado began the series with the Marlins, the Rockies had one more win than 6-24 Miami. Flashforward six days and Houston has 11 wins, Miami has nine and Colorado still has seven.
The Rockies are now riding a five-game losing streak, which prompted a team meeting after the latest loss to Miami on Thursday.
Hopefully, the meeting can inspire a change and get the team past the seven-win mark as the Rockies open up a three-game series in Pittsburgh on Friday.
